NEW YORK. NY Aragon Construction,
one of the leading New York
City based general contracting and
construction management firms, is
putting the final touches on a large
renovation of the general offices of
Gallagher RE, a specialist reinsurance
intermediary and advisory
firm and subsidiary of Arthur 1.
Gallagher & o. Gallagher Re has
inhabited the 13,000 s/f of space
on the 18th floor of 14 Wall Street
since April 2000, and did not relocate
throughout the duration of the
renovation.
Working together with Joseph
Calpo-RiveraofThe SpectorGroup,
Aragon altered a portion of the 18th
floor in a 2-phase renovation. Phase
1 consisted of work during the day
executing general renovations including
repainting doors and trenching
the floors for new workstations.
Phase 2 took place at night, which
included an entire lobby overhaul
and complete renovation of the
pantry area.
Alex Getelman, founder and
president of Aragon said, "This is
always a rewarding kind of project
for us, one where we are helping a
client make better, more functional
use of their existing space. Fortunately,
Aragon has the expertise to
renovate a space while a client is
still in it without disrupting them
or their work."
