ARAGON CONSTRUCTION BEGINS 37,418 S/F PROJECT
NEW YORK, NEW YORK March 27-April 2, 2007 (continued)
Aragon Construction has recently begun working on the new Manhattan world headquarters
for leading international executive search firm Christian & Timbers. The company has
outgrown their current space at 1177 Sixth Ave. and will be taking over the entire 3rd floor
consisting of 37,418 s/f, just down the block at 1166 Sixth Ave. The move-in date is scheduled
for April 20.
Working together with principal Max Kawer of The Switzer Group, Aragon is altering the 3rd
floor, which belonged to existing tenants Marsh & McLennan Companies, a global advice and
solutions firm.
According to Aragon president Alex Getelman, "The challenge will be to do this as expeditiously
as possible in order to make their April 20 move-in there is very little time but that's where our
expertise becomes an advantage."
Christian & Timbers, represented by Joe Fabrizi of Cushman & Wakefield, signed a 10 year
lease for their new global headquarters in New York. This will be the firm's largest office
worldwide, housing 93 employees with room to grow.
